It's FRIDAY!!!

NO HOMEWORK!!! Woohoo.....

What we did today...
* Every kid was given a math book today! They need to bring these to class EVERY day.

* We made "foldables" in class. This is where we take notes. Notes will be given for each lesson, and students are required to take notes. Students can use their foldables on quizzes, and they will also be graded at the end of each Chapter.

* We are starting Chapter One. This chapter is basically a review of a lot of information taught in the 7th grade.

HOMEWORK: Return the forms handed out the 1st day of school

What a day! I am BEAT! I have had a GREAT first day back to school! Students...you know that I talked and talked and talked and then talked some more today, which means I'm at a loss for words this afternoon. Just don't forget to get the thousands of forms that were sent home today filled out, signed, and brought back!

It was so nice to meet all of you! I look forward to getting to know you and helping you achieve success in MATH! See you tomorrow!

This is it...the LAST day of summer vacation! Where has the time gone?! Just trying to finish up a few last things so that I am COMPLETELY ready for when all of you show up tomorrow! Looking forward to it!!!

What a day! I was at school from 8 am until 7:30 pm...needless to say, I am TIRED! However, I am so incredibly excited about this school year! I met LOTS of my students and their parents! I had 21 out of 24 in my homeroom show up! Now that's pretty amazing! Yep, definitely going to have the best homeroom again (I ALWAYS do!).

So this is my class blog! I know that I should use PERFECT spelling and PERFECT grammar, but I can't make any promises! This is where I plan on writing about what we've done in class and keep my kids and their parents updated on assignments. Since I plan (key word, plan) to update this page DAILY (that's right, EVERY day), there may be a few mistakes. Please forgive me in advance! Students, if I REALLY mess up by spelling something COMPLETELY wrong let me know and you'll get a treat!

Okay guys, you won't actually read this until after Wednesday, BUT I hope that you all enjoy your last day of vacation! I look forward to seeing all of your smiling faces bright and early Wednesday morning!!!

HOMEWORK FOR TONIGHT: GET SOME SLEEP!
